About Auto-Bon Auto Repair Simsbury, CT

While many young American men are passionate about (and enjoy tinkering with) their cars, few avidly follow these desires through to a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Jim Blanchette then embarked on a career path with United Technologies, a corporate global leader in the aerospace industry. This career path, however, lead Jim away in distance and available time from his family and affinity for his automotive skills. The corporate world challenged his ardor for his growing immediate family and the greater automotive community.

Determined to right his ship, with the full support of both his immediate and greater family, he founded Tariffville Auto Repair. In 1993, he acquired Foreign Car Cure, which had been established in 1980. Merging these businesses, he and his family grew and nurtured them to today’s auto~bon.
